Storage Solutions How to recover the Data?

I have 1 Tb external go flex external drive which got corrupt. When checked at Accel Frontline , they told that the HDD power circuit is damaged.
Is there any way that I could recover the data (it is of series ST31000521AS)?

Dont think you could do it without opening up the drive. Which would void your warranty.

Anyways, if possible, ask them to change the power ckt and give back the same drive!

yes it is possible either by replacing the power circuit from a similar model or by repairing it

If the HDD is still operational then you can try "GetDataBack" for NTFS or FAT depending upon your HDD partition. I had successfully recovered gigabytes of data when my external HDD got corrupt, few years ago. Although, you may not be able to recover all the files.

^ i doubt that mate, as the power circuit of the HDD have blown, i guess it is dead right now, so software won't help, he will need hardware assist right now.
