How to remove watermark from a movie?

I have downloaded some movies from net and some of those contain some watermark with the name of the uploader.

Is there any way to remove them?

Short of cropping it out of the movie entirely, the best you can do is cover it up or blur it out.

You can only blur out the area where the watermark is.

For blurring the watermark you need to make a image ( static image with blur built in, in photoshop ) of the same size as the area you want to blur and then re encode the video repeating the blur image pasting on all the frameshyeah:

Bottomline, you can blur it you can block it, but you cant take the complete thing out of a Video, unless its the Magnanimously Large, Uncompressed variety that em video editors work with

Blurring the watermark is a better option.

No loss in resolution/quality.

better to watch it with the watermark......blurring causes a distraction, for me atleast.

Tey this virtualdub plugin. I used to use this to get rid of channel logos while watching TV.
