Hi..
So how do I fix LOgical bad sectors ???
I just have ONE logical bad sector in my HDD.
Its not a physical bad sector... I would have easily remapped it.
I have used
Hard Disk Sentinel - 1 bad sector found during self test[ 'no action needed' - message] + 99% health and 100% performance.
HDD Regenerator - Full complete scan and repair - 0 bad sectors found.
HD tune - warnings..
Chkdsk in win 7 x32
HDD health.
Spinrite
Zero write with WD data diagnostics.
These all scans took about 12 -15 hrs approx each.
Using it with VX450 so no power problems.. and also no temp problems..
The drive is 1 year old WD green and its Empty . NO data at all.. Was Defragmenting it regularly during usage..
So how do i fix this logical bad sector ???
or should I start using it ignoring that logical bad sector.. ??
Is the sector unaccessible because of the OS ??
TIA.
