How to reuse a reusable Screen guard?

Guys,

i got my HTC TOUCH Screen guard spoilt by dust as i removed. how do i re use it and how to remove dust? i dipped in water and washed dust off and again when i try to wipe water with cloth, the small cloth strings sticks on the guard. i have same problem with Iphone's Screen Guard.
 
That's the problem with India. There's too much dust around. I washed the screen protector that came with my Touch with water too, and when I re-applied it it has all those tiny string-like things x.x You should get it right the first time only.

Try leaving the hot water shower running in your bathroom for a while, then apply the protector in there. There shouldn't be much dust around then.
 
i cant get rid of dust from the protector before applying and also tiny strings after washing :O

thats the problem.. how to overcome it :(

What is the anatomy of those screen protectors?
 
i think thats called lint

and reusing those protectors in india is an exercise in futility :lol: even if i air dried it was left with water marks
 
I too failed reusing the screen guard on a o2 mini.

@nvidiabeast, where you got the iphone screen guard from? does it cover the full face. would it degrade the touch performance?

no it doesnt degrade any touch performance on iphone as its just 0.1mm thick. i got it from heera panna for 400 bux. it covers the full screen except the button and earpiece..
 
still face the problem.. this time i washed with Colgate and then i left it dry and applied. but the water stains remained from the previous wash.. the protector was applied properly though without any air holes.. now the problem.. how to remove water marks?
