Thanks dude. The 80 character limit in 160by2 is bollocks..... will try indyarocks.com. Does it have the same limit btw?

There are desktop softwares that allow sending sms through your phone connected to your comp via USB. I had one for Win-Mo. Oxygen Phone Manager also supports a lot of phones. Try looking for something like that.

or floAt's Mobile Agent (FMA2)

floAt's Mobile Agent Online

Its specifically for SE phones. Im not sure if it works on newer models, but it works fine on my w800 (which is identical to the k750). You can hook up through USB, IR or BT (recommended) and then you can control various phone funtions from the comp. A few examples are:

Sending and receiving SMS's

Dailing

Creating contacts, notes, etc.

Quite a versatile tool, but its pretty old (2005 for the stable release, and a beta released in '07). So maybe the myphoneexplorer that 'ComradE_BeaN' recommended may be more suitable.

edit: if the smses are too long, it automatically splits them up and sends it as separate smses the same way the phone would.

just checked out myphoneexplorer and its better than FMA. Has more functions like syncing with google contacts and calendar, and uses less resources. Definitely recommended. Reps to Comrade Bean.
