How to Setup Anonymous Shares / Null Session Shares

i need a guide/url for achieving Anonymous / Null Session SMB Shares
(Windows Shares )
one more thing , do we need to enable/provide any User account for getting Anonymous Logons ( mainly Guest acc as it don,t require any pass @ network logons )

But the same question here , why any User acc ( guest in this case ) is being enabled for getting anonymous / null shares:huh:

Guys, i am able to access Anonymous share when shared on Win2k3 server and the client as xp or srvr03 box.
But not able to access anonymous share when source is Xp box(sp2 or sp3 )...

any help

For XP, we need to follow the above steps as for 2k3.
2k3 doesn't denies Guest Logon access by default, and xp does...
so thereby, we need to enable One additional policy allowing Guest Account network logon access thereby allowing Null access to $IPC i.e. letting us view/read Browseable/Browsable shares.
Policy Name: "Deny access to this computer from network. "
