How to Setup D Link DIR 615 on an MTNL UT 300 R2U (Noob Alert)

Hello,
I am new to wireless networking and for the life of me i cannot get my MTNL connection on a wireless network, i tried to set it up once but the connection keeps breaking, the MTNL is connected through an ethernet connection with a telephone wire plugged in. Any help on how to setup would be appreciated, i dont know anything about it so please be patient with me..

The major problem for me is that, my mtnl internet is working whenever i plug in the Ethernet cable in my pc/laptop but it breaks when i plug it in the Router which suggests to me that i am setting my router up in a wrong manner. Please all help is appreciated

you have to change your d link router's default ip address to something different from your mtnl modem.

connect your dlink router to your pc and change its default ip address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.2

and try.
 
login to your dlink modem with username password provided with router.

in set up tab,you will find default ip address of router which will be 192.168.1.1 with which you logined to router.

change that 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.2 as default ip address of router.
