How to share airtel connection?

HI guys,
I am using airtel broadband connection 128kbps unlimited. Before i am able 2 use the net from both the USB and LAN for sytems (1 laptop).
After updating the modem(beetel 220BX) , I am unable 2 get the connection frm both the ports. I can avail only one of those.
And even i tried , by sharing the connection , by usning blue tooth dongle
and i cannot use it.
Help me guys over this
 
many of us use the 220bx for airtel and share the connection using multiple methods (router/wi-fi/ethernet shared etc) so there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to..but you need to post details of

- your setup

- what used to work earlier

- what you tried doing now

otherwise it would be like shoting in the dark!
 
^^220bx has 2 connection types available..a USB conn & a RJ45 conn..
i think he is telling that he is not able to use both the connections to use to share the net connection between 2 pcs...

220bx supports DHCP...make sure that the DHCP is turned ON & the range is more than 1 ,,,

^^when the router is capable of creating a lan by itself...why would u want to create one more??..;)..
am not sure if the internet will work or not...but i had connected a laptop to usb port (from 220bx) to transfer some stuff....so i think internet will be shared too....not very sure tough....
