I have a Tata Indicom Broadband connected to my PC through a USB modem. I also have a Linksys wireless Router connected to the same PC through ethernet port. How do I share the Tata Indicom Broadband over the wireless router?? The wireless router does not have any ADSL functionality. So the connection will have to be done through the PC only. Is this even possible ? I am using Win 7.

Share the USB connection using ICS, and configure the router as directly connected to net. Connect a LAN cable from PC lan port to WAN port of router.

Yes its possible but it'll be a long term headache.

Instead, check ur tata broadband modem properly and see if theres an ethernet port. If it does have one, then call the Tata technician over and ask him to configure the mode for ethernet usage instead of USB, so that you can directly plug the modem into the router via Ethernet.

Trust me, this is a better option otherwise you'll need to have your PC on the entire time you want to share the connection over a wireless network.
