2.Get a hosting account. HostSo - Reliable, Affordable Web Hosting etc

What to look in a hosting account?

1. How many MySQL databases are they providing ?
2.Most of the sites give Unlimited Bandwidth , Some don't so look for it.
3.How much Webspace is provided ?
4.Is there an automatic script installation facility like fantastico , Scriptalicious ?

Extra features to look for :

1. No of sub-domains allowed.
2. .htaccess - Yes or No.
3. Version of PHP and MySQL. Most of hosts have the latest version but check for it too.

What is generally required :-

1.You dont need Gb's of space 1 Gb is enough unless you are planning a site like mediafire.
2. 5-7 MySQL Databases are enough. Actually 1 database is used for 1 framework like wordpress,gallery etc
3. Subdomains are optional and paying extra for it is useless unless you know what you are doing.
 
You Forgot Few things.

Before choosing an host:

  • Check Reviews
  • Read Terms of Service of the host
  • Make Sure they assist Technically Via Live chat
  • Mysql databases Limit should be unlimited. Notice Godaddy hosting (1Gb limit for mysql)
  • Make Sure they have Quick install (you'l find it in Hostgator's Panel) Which will be very useful or softaculous software.
  • Avoid Hosting From Resellers, If you find them Good then they're Worth a shot

Dedicated Servers, Reseller Hosting, Web Hosting, VPS Hosting

I am looking for a new cheap host, getting done with a new website.

Hostso offers 200GB/month , unlimted bandwidth. Everything @ Rs.29/month. Too good to be true

I doubt their uptime

^ 200Gb Space isn't per month or year.. its basically up to till you use.. you get unlimited bandwidth....

From my past experience, such hosts last for a few months. Always use hosting which has been in the business for atleast 3+ years, else you may be shocked to see your website disappear [Personal Experience]

Yes, Do google the term "hostso Reviews" You will notice nice-nice Reviews. Simple pathetic according to me.

Bandwidth isn't cheap anywhere not at least in USA so that they can offer Unlimited bandwidth for $1(Rs29 india).

If they provide it that clearly means they are OVERSELLING.

Please Appreciate Indian shared servers instead of hosting on USA Servers. though plans are cheap on USA servers there are lot of benefits hosting your site on indian servers.

For small/Starters go with the one's who are Offering Cheaply for 50/month (I mean Resellers from Reputed Worldclass Indian hosts).
 
Could anyone just brief how actually the owner of a particular website gets monetary benefits ??
How adwords works, their criteria ??
 
There are many sites like google ads but the main difference is the relavance of ads. Google ads publishes ads according to your sites theme. AFAIK unless you are hitting more than 5k unique hits per day you wont be seeing much money. You can also charge for some extra benefits by using your site like Pro version of your site for paid user. Or by listing products on the first page by taking money if it is a shopping site. So on...... Unless the site is unique in content it will not earn much money.

^Avoid purchasing such things over eBay. There are many good domain providers like GoDaddy.com, bigrock.in, whost.in, name.com :)

BigRock.in and Whost.in are the good ones :)

Then i guess should stick to Bigrock for purchasing the domain.

And cheap options for startup hosting ?? Hows Hostso ? any other recommendations ?
