hey please help me
as the title suggests how to stop promotional messages on bsnl prepaid mobile

i m on bsnl prepaid punjab circle
i dont know on which no to send the ""DND"" message

for do not disturb services

i get a lot of messages daily from bsnl
so please help me
 
Register the do not call option, then you won't get all those unwanted messages.

To register with the National Do Not Call registry, simply send SMS "START DND" to 1909 [toll free]

This method is same for all the mobile operators. Once registered, maximum of 45 days is given for the operators to stop spamming :P

^^ You'll see the effect only after 45 days. If you had registered more than 45 days ago, go through the links I had mentioned above, and try and lodge a complaint. I had registered in the DNC registry, and a couple of weeks later, I stopped receiving promotional messages from Idea. Prior to that I had been receiving at least 6 to 10 messages a day. So, it works... at least for me.
 
There is some RIO Lounge that sends me several messages. Once I am registered with the NDND, if this guy continues to send me msgs, whom do I complain to?
