Notes :
This guide has been only tested on Nokia S60 phones.
It might work on other S60 phones. The concept might work on other phones too, but i have not tried it.
Requirements :
X-Plore for S60 phones. You can download it from - Lonely Cat Games - X-plore
Even the other file browsers would do, but i choose X-Plore. (The S60 File Manager will not work)
Steps -
1. Move all your ringtones from the Digital and Simple folders inside your Sounds folder on the Memory Card to a different folder inside the Sound folder itself. I have named this folder ringtones.
2. Install X-Plore by downloading it from the link provided. Open X-Plore
3. Navigate to the ringtones folder and press the 6 key to open the Attributes chooser.
4. Check the "System" attribute and press the left softkey to apply the attribute.
5. Now open your Music Player and refresh your library. All your ringtones which you just gave the attribute of System to, will now not be shown in your music player library.
This step does not work if you try to apply the system attribute to the Sounds folder itself. ( I came to know of this point from the Nokia Discussions Board, otherwise the workaround was discovered by myself )
