How to transfer 500 of chat from Whatsapp to WA

Hi Friends,

I have lost my whatsapp back up and now want one of my contact to send ALL my chat/conversation with him to me, it will be tedious & time consuming task for him to keep clicking on each chat and select and send.
At same time I do not want it in just plain text file (boring to keep reading plain text file) but as it is in Whatsapp chat format (for some aesthetical & quick search reason).. is it possible?

Please help, providing step by step guide

It's not possible to import chats. Exports can be done into text files only. Simply no way to import chat exported from another account.

For future, enable cloud backups if chats are important to you.
 
As you mentioned, a text file is possible, boring but better than nothing. If it is important, suggest that you get it and keep it. Whether you use it or not is another matter. You can always search for specifics in that text file.
