If India truly wants to shape the future the first step is to permanently and fully end this reservation crap which was started by our then social workers and freedom fighters only for a ltd period until the poor and the lower caste gets sufficient education to grab some work or jobs. But see how far this has came and how foolishly rather shamelessly these caste people still want more reservation nos. where they got ample of farms, houses, money and swanky cars yet they want it all only to do chapri and gunda-giri. Best example in my vicinity are Pune people from Mulshi and Hinjewadis. These people are so rich that their 2-3 generations can easily sit, shit and enjoy! Yet these people are hungry for more money.
Latest eg: https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...hagawane-death-case/articleshow/121373703.cms dig more on this and you will get to know.

In fact govt. should dishonor and entirely discontinue the reservation system and focus to start a BPL (below poverty line category) category policy where only after a thorough analysis a specific category of people can be classified into BPL. Once they flourish few yrs from now, their BPL benefits should cease and they shall then fall in the normal lower/middle income group category.

I wonder why even govt. wants to entertain reservation these days.

My blood is boiling since school days when some 35% percent classless reservation category idiot was put promoted in A division while we who earned 85% were allocated B and C divisions. But then came the judgement day when we all passed 10th in one go and these A category reservation fools took a good 2-3 reattempts to clear the exam!

no govt will ever touch reservation, they wont survive the elections, just look at Farm Laws and Article 370 abrogation, both of were good initiatives but you have seen just what happened, as for new category, it should definitely be BPL and imo, if reservation is availed once, then it shouldnt be allowed for the next 2 generations, period. Doesnt matter if the family is BPL or not,
