Android How to unlock a Sprint Galaxy S2??

One of my relatives is visiting from Canada and has brought along a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S2. He wants to be able to use it with other carriers once he returns. Can anyone help me on how to unlock it? Would a code from eBay work? Or would I need to visit Pallika/Gaffar market?

It is a CDMA phone. Won't work with GSM carriers. Will only work with Reliance CDMA after getting the MEID registered and programming done(only if required for this handset).

No, it won't be used in India - he wants to take it back to Canada and use it with other carriers.

Will only work with CDMA carriers and that too if there are people who can flash the phones to work with Canadian CDMA providers like people in US do for Cricket.
