How to unlock Micromax datacard (came with airtel)

2-3 years back I purchased a Micromax datacard from Airtel for Rs 3000.
Can I use the same datacard to use any other GSM network ?
I tried using Reliance by inserting the GSM sim into the datacard, but it asked the unlock code.

Now, How to unlock it ?

Take it with near by mobile repair shop/market/mall & ask them, max for Rs.150/- any one of them will happily unlock it for PERMANENT. If possible take 2-3 different service providers sim with you & check ON THE SPOT if it's unlocked permanently to avoid any hassle latter.
