How to unlock Vibrant without unlock pattern & google account

I ordered a Vibrant T959 few weeks back from eBay. Unfortunately, phone is pattern locked, and seller is not responding to my mails now. Also, I don't have any Google account associated with this phone.

Is there a way to unlock the phone? Or is the factory reset / hard reset only way out?

Use ODIN, go to download mode and flash the stock firmware.

Goto recovery mode and wipe data and cache. .

what is the problem with the factory reset? You'd any way like to customize the phone as per your requirements. Follow either of the two methods suggested above.

after a complete phone shutdown...

for recovery: VOLUP + VOl Down + Power, till you see the vibrant logo...

For download: VOLUP + VOl Down + Insert USB while connected to PC.
