How to Update Android

Hi All,

I am looking to update my android phone its Micromax A85 Hardware spec is mentioned below

1. CPU - 1 GHZ dual core
Tegra 250 AP20H (Ventana)40 nm
ARMv71 GHz Dual-core ARM Cortex-A9ULP GeForce 300 MHz32-bit Single-channel 300 MHz LPDDR2 (2.4 GB/sec) or 333 MHz DDR2 (2.66 GB/sec)

2. Memory (RAM) - 320 MB
3. Internal Memory - 8 GB (Usable 5.5 GB)


Let me know which android will run smoothly on my phone as I have android 2.2 I also want to know steps to install the android on the phone.
