How to upgrade to Windows 8.1 ?

Seems upgrading to 8.1 ins't straight forward. When I click on 'Get the free update' on http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/home it opens up the Windows Store of system and it shows updates available, but I don't see Windows 8.1 there.

Just search for store on your system, on the store homepage there is a big tile on the left..

I dont see any such big tile for 8.1. I see spotlight under which Facebook app is displayed.

I though you preferred your Hackintosh over Windoze

Are you just getting it to utilize your bandwidth

I will be updating to Mavericks soon, so I will update this Windoze also. Cos I don't know whats the exact process, if a fresh install is required then I can do it now. Once I update to Mavericks, it makes things messy if I try to format & stuff.
