HOW: use 2 Sound-Systems with Computer ?

I have a Altech Lansing 2.1 system and a cheap local 5.1 speaker system.

How can I connect both of them together with my PC for 7.1 like effect ? ;)
 
Connect 2.1 to the front speakers jack. Connect 5.1 to the centre,suround and rear surr. You'll need to match the volume levels on both sets.

I have the following Audio Jacks -

  • Orange
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Black
  • Yellow

please explain which one to connect with which one ?

Also, can you suggest me the price of cheapest 5.1 system ?
 
i wud suggest not to buy a cheap 5.1 to couple with the AL 2.1 and try making a 7.1 setup. With cheap stuff u won't be able to differentiate the 7.1 from a 5.1. If u want cheap surround sound and don't want to dispose ur 2.1 buy another 2.1 and couple them to make a 4.2. I think the sound quality will be better. Use the better of the two 2.1 as the front speakers.
 
actually, very little sound goes to the 4 rear speakers. you might need a good speaker for the fronts, but for the rears , any crap will do :)
