How would i get a free domain name?

I have devoloped a free website in google but the problem is its very difficult to remember its name.

as it starts with http://sites.google.com/site/<mysitename>.

How would i make it very sort like.

http://mysitename.co.nr

or

http://mysitename.co.zr

For Example.

When you type

"www.vartakcollege.com" in google you get its site named as www.vartakcollege.co.nr

when you put "www.vartakcollege.co.nr" in your browser it get redirected to sites.google.com/site/vartakcollegeorg/

I know its very difficult to get domain name like .com .in but Above method is sufficient for me.

Please guide .
 
It is not difficult to get a domain... it costs like 500 bucks for one year. Go get it and set up URL redirection straight to your google site. its totally worth it.

Recently godaddy was giving away .in domains for like a 100bucks... Check em out, they might still have that offer.

And there are many other also. But I dont know URL redirection is allowed in Google sites.

While reading terms and condition of the website i came across following point.

How would i keep my account active?

Rule 4: We have a 2 Months inactivity limit
