How's Sennheiser HD202?

Guys..i am looking forward to buying a pair of these from my

friend who is coming shortly from UK.

HD202

I'll b getting these for about £15.That amounts to 1200 INR.

Is it worth?

Any ideas about the local price?

Suggest any alternatives in the same price range.

I'll be mostly using them for music and movies.

And the only thing I want is crisp sound n clear mids highs

n lows.

i think its selling locally for the same price. there was a thread cant seem to find it

^ i got the very basic HD201 from the US of A for abt 19$ ...thats abt 800 buks :) and its decent....far better than a 800 buck counterpart from other company!
 
better buy HD485 for little more.

Udit..bro thts over my budget. i can spend max 1.5k.

so...the the deal is good...now a word on their sound quality.

how well they'll sound on my Audigy 4.?
 
Head over to head-fi forums. The hd201 is highly recommended for a budget headphone over the hd202 which has unnatural bass. I got the hd201 in Pune for 1600 bucks.
