How's the after sales service of ASUS laptops?

Asus' warranty is taken care of by Rashi Peripherals and Neoteric AFAIK. Rashi's service was a bit bad before but several users have reported that it has improved over time. Of all places, Rashi's Kolkata branch seemingly has offered very bad service. Not sure about their present state.

Battery went bad ,then i called the ccare for RMA.
They came to my room andreplaced the battery within one week
A simple laptop lock costing 200 bucks would have saved your laptop, dont forget to buy one before purchasing another laptop.
To be frank it depends on area.In mumbai around 2 years back when i last enquired about asus product a dealer himself suggested to stay away .saying he has 2 lakh worth of good waiting for Rma and he was waiting because already 5 lakh worth of good was refused by service guy suggesting silly reason hence they boycotting asus all together.
Again note this was 2-3 years back.
