Though I want Senhieser HD650 and a good amp but due to fund shortage

I am plannig to buy HP805 and use it for 3-4 months.

Does anyone knows who shocks them in Lamington road ?

Recommendation for alternatives are welcome in the range <=1.5k

The philips shp-805 are very good VFM headphones but these have been discontinued by philips and the newer SHP-2700 have taken their place. These retail for around Rs 1495 and have slightly better if not the same sound quality.

Another alternative would be the Sennheiser HD202 headphones but are around Rs 1800+.

what about Sennheiser HD202 Vs SHP 2700 ?? does HD202 worth buying for 400+ then HP2700 ? I'll be going Lamington road on this Saturday

get the cheaper philips SHP200 for 700 bucks. As it is you'll get the sennheiser ones why waste money for now.

Go for the shp-2700's....you won't be disappointed and can hold of the sennheiser cans until then.

I'm not from mumbai but you could try one of the music world or planetM stores.

Go for Sennheiser HD201. Better than Philips IMHO and they retail for 1.25k at Croma with a 2 year warranty.

Bought SHP 2700 for 1495 INR from Philips Arena Tardeo(Mumbai)

Great vfm buy...

Make sure to break them in for 20+ hrs , playing bass heavy music through them at slightly higher than average volumes .
