PC Peripherals HP Adds New All-in-Ones

HP has announced the launch of three new all-in-one inkjet printers PS 1608, OJ 7208 and OJ 6208.

As a part of the strategy to get aggressive in the all-in-one printer market Hewlett Packard has announced the launch of three new all-in-one printers PS 1608, OJ 7208 and OJ 6208.

The three new all-in-ones are designed to sustain harsh environmental conditions, like those experienced in India and rough handling of product while in transit.

Rajiv Rao, market development manager, consumer products, HP India, said "As a technology leader, it is our endeavor to constantly innovate and offer solutions to our customers that add value to their business and lifestyle. In order to continue our leadership in the personal printing space, we have adopted a four pronged approach.

We will be working towards further simplifying solutions for the consumer, making the user experience unforgettable and enjoyable, reliable and consistent, focus on long-term relationships with our customers along with being a good corporate citizen," he added.

The HP PSC 1608 all-in-one enables users to print long lasting printouts and uses the HP Vivera ink, providing up to 4800-optimised dpi resolution. It has an integrated multi-card memory card reader and offers PictBridge compatibility, allowing users to print photos directly using digital cameras. The printer has an informative text display.

The HP OfficeJet 7208 all-in-one is capable of delivering professional quality prints. It also has networking capability. The OJ 7208 can prints and copy at speed of up to 30 ppm (pages per minute) for black and 20 ppm for color printouts.

The HP OfficeJet 6208 all-in-one is capable of delivering up to 4800 optimized dpi. It is also capable of color as well as black and white fax at 33.6 kbps and up to 100 pages of fax memory.

In order to increase their presence the company is also setting up about 500 demo centers across the country. It will also organize training and demo sessions a local country call center, internet and e-support and India repair center.
