HP is making its way back into tablet segment with its new Slate 7 Android tablet.The HP Slate 7 is an affordable 7 inch Android 4.1 Jelly Bean based tablet.
The Slate 7 has stainless steel back frame with "soft-touch" back. It has modest specifications including 1.6GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage expandable via microSD slot.
The Screen is 7 inches LCD with 1024x600 resolution . It has 3M rear camera and VGA front camera. It has stereo speakers and beats audio software enhancement.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth and Micro USB port. It also comes with ePrint app using which it can issue print commands to HP printers.
The Slate 7 will be available in the USA from April and international release will follow in sometime. The pricing for USA is around $169. It will come in Silver and Red colors.
