Laptops HP DV6114TX vs DV2117TX

Hi guys,

Can you please tell me the differences between these 2 machines. Leaving out the obvious price difference of about 4000 between the two, 2117 has 100 GB Hard disk, and 1 GB RAM to 6114's 80 GB and 512MB respectively.
Also, Screen size is 14.1' in 2117 to 6114's 15.4.

Besides these 2 differences, rest looks the same to me.
Please advise which one makes more sense.

the hp dv2117TX laptop has an inferior (gpu 7200 w turbocache) compared to dv6114TX which has a nvidia 7400 go gpu. (it shld not matter much for desktop use )

the hp dv2117TX has a smaller screen size 14.1" compared to dv6114TX which has a 15.4" screen.

from the config it seems that hp dv2117TX has a smaller form factor which means it is more portable than dv6114TX.

if u wont be gaming on the laptop the extra 20GB and 1GB ram on dv2117TX shld be of more interest to u.(though u would be losing 128MB ram as it will be shared by the GPU).

go for hp dv2117TX is what i would suggest.
 
even i ll suggest for dv2117tx....u ll get another 512 mb ram and 20 gb harddisk.

i dont think 14.1 '' screen would matter much.
