- Replacing with a MacBook
Hello,
Selling my HP EliteBook 835 G7, HP's top-of-the-line, ultra-thin business laptop. I bought it used a few weeks ago for my wife to replace her aging MacBook, but she prefers macOS, so this one is up for grabs. Specifications are as follows:
Selling my HP EliteBook 835 G7, HP's top-of-the-line, ultra-thin business laptop. I bought it used a few weeks ago for my wife to replace her aging MacBook, but she prefers macOS, so this one is up for grabs. Specifications are as follows:
- Processor: Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U (better than an 11th gen i7 mobile processor)
- RAM: 16GB DDR4
- Storage: 256GB M.2 NVMe SSD (brand new)
- Display: 13.3 inches 1920 x 1080
- Keyboard: Backlit
- Speakers: Bang & Olufsen
- Lightweight & Portable: Weighs just 1.3 kg, making it easy to carry around.
- Great Keyboard & Trackpad: The keyboard is one of best I've seen in laptops, and the trackpad is smooth, made of glass, and supports all Windows gestures.
- Fingerprint Reader: Supports Windows Hello for easy and secure login.
- Battery Life: Still good for 5-6 hours of normal web browsing.
- Screen Condition: The EliteBook series comes with a matte finish display instead of a glossy one. Laptops with matte displays typically have a matte transparent layer applied to them. The previous owner removed that matte layer for god-knows-what reason, leaving the base LCD vulnerable. As such, it has a few scratches visible only under strong light. These aren’t noticeable under normal use. I’ve tried to capture the scratches on video for full transparency. This cosmetic flaw has been taken into account for the pricing. A screen protector has since been installed by a local shop to prevent further damage, though its installation could have been cleaner.
