Not sure...but it looks like you can't replace battery or put another memory module in ultra books. I'm not sure but I didn't notice any screws at the underside.

What are your uses?
It have an Under powered CPU. It have base frequency of only 1.7 GHz instead of normal i5 3gen laptop's 2.5 GHz clock speed), So you should not expect so much performance from it. But still that is enough for normal uses and if portability is your main priority then go for it.

well ...i will be working occasionally on design softwares like catia,and i am not much of a hard core gamer but does go bongers over games like fifa,nfs and gta. Portability is one of my concerns. I actually had asus k53sm in mind, then after hearing about few complaints regarding asus's service and issues with its display I was confused,thats when i saw the envy and started having second thoughts.
