PC Peripherals HP F4288 ink level reset

Hi all,

i bought a schwepid HP Deskjet F4288 :mad: based on the sellers recommendation and now its refusing to work on refilled cartridges.

ive refilled the intro carts, but the ink levels are blinking and showing as empty. not much stuff on the internet on workarounds to reset the ink level counter, or some alternate methods to make the refilled cartridges work.

Anyone has ever made refilled cartridges work on the HP F4288? If yes, did your ink level show empty too for fully refilled carts, and if yes to that too, the obvious next question is -> how did you take care of it?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
 
i own the same ...

yes you can use refilled cartridge but ink levels show empty.

you can do nothing about it.

refilled black gives error but color is working fine.
 
what i did to fix my problem was download HP Solution Center from hp's site and when you open the program there is an ink cartridge in the upper right hand corner, click that and configure any settings needed and it should fix it.
