In the shipping and payments tab warranty info says '1 year Dealer Warranty' for this asus laptop. The dealer also has only 138 feedbacks. Either i would avoid or double check with the dealer regarding the warranty.

@OP - HP G42 with Core i3 370, 2GB RAM, 500GB HDD and Win7 Home Basic costs ~30k in Chennai. So the DOS version would cost ~1.5k-2k cheaper. So that comes to say ~28k-28.5k
You can easily add 2GB RAM yourself and for similar price you will get a better config.
