The model is HP G6 2005AX.
Parts needed are:
1. the power port connector inside the laptop
2. heat-sink and fan
3. speaker port connector
4. usb port connector (the one on the right near the power connector)
5. keypad
6. harddisk connector
7. compatible 6-cell battery (compatible battery but should be new)
yep my laptop is screwed. :|
I'm also still looking for the MX2/good thermal paste.

If you dont mind DIY and want cheapest option (cost wise), u can replace cells in laptop battery. Get decent battery bank, dismantle it and use those cells in laptop battery. You can find lot of videos demonstrating it. I think laptop authorised service centers do the same thing for battery replacement in warranty.

i'll try that when i'm in the mood. The battery is of no use to me now anyway. doesn't provide even a second of backup anymore. :|
