Hi Guys,

Looking to buy a netbook\notebook(w\e), was initially thinking about HP Mini 110 Series 110-3606TU (HP Mini 110 Series 110-3606TU Laptop Price India: Buy HP Mini 110 Series Netbook India: Flipkart.com), which is awesome for its price.But I have a little more budget now so looking at these two:

HP Pavilion DM1 Series dm1-3014AU Laptop Price India: Buy HP Pavilion DM1 Series Notebook India: Flipkart.com(Cherry Black)

and

Sony VAIO YB Series VPCYB15AG Laptop Price India: Buy Sony VAIO YB Series Notebook India: Flipkart.com(Green)
Config. is nearly the same I guess, and price too(BTW wasn't hp one supposed to be remarkbly cheaper than sony one?).

Usage is basic web browsing, movies(720p sometimes), some office work + occasional light gaming.

so suggestions, input etc.
 
^^^ i would recommend the HP DM-1z as it is better than the sony in almost all aspects such as better battery life, slightly better scores in benchmarks in the reviews, overall viewing angles and screen quality and the overall build quality as well as the price. the hdd in the hp is a 7200rpm drive which is better than the sony's 5400rpm drive. i would not usually recommend hp notebooks but the DM-1z is an exception.
