Laptops HP Pavilion dv5-1015TX

i want to get this laptop. its not out everywhere i guess. i saw it in hypercity and fell in love with it. the price is not so loving though and thats why i still do not own it. its for 65ooo in hypercity. the best deal still i can get is 635oo. can anyone find a lower quote. there is another compaq model as well same specs but with 256mb gfx card and is 14 incher that is for 50k. let me know the updates on price please. should i get this now or wait for new c2 models from dell as well ? ? ?

Pune lowest quote: 62600 (no bargaining but my dealer usually gives me good rates):ohyeah: can you get someone to pick up from here? :P

so its 62600 eh, is this the final price for u from ur dealer or will he come down, the problem is that these are new and im not sure if there will be price cuts soon reason is there is a similar compaq model out for 49k. only difference is 14 incher and 256mb gfx card here is the link to both.

Thats pretty much it till any price cuts come into pic, never know when of course :P He gives me good rates for a dealer, and right the first time, which is why I goto him ;)

Hes quoting max 49k for the compaq. Says will be able to get some more reduction when you are ready to buy and he orders the actual unit form the distri.

for a performance laptop (i.e. anything above 35k) i would suggest skipping AMD altogether and going for Intel only. For performance right now, AMD isnt doing too well in the laptop space :) At least till the new platform is out (puma?)

the deals arent really cheap at all. both those lappies are available for around 3or5 k lesser than mentioned. its obvious ebay india isstupid since they charge around 16% tax or commision as u call it
