Laptops Hp pavillion

planning to buy hp dv5 1203ax. are there any issues with hp laptop.

any ownership reviews of hp laptops here?like service, hardware quality, failure rates etc.
cos i found dell laptops to be dull as comapred to hp and also hp have a higher quality to price ratio.

I had initial plans of buying this product, but many said that the AMD processor would heat the laptop like anything and is a major drain on the batteries too.

Then i decided to go for Dell Studio 15.

I would suggest the dell too. Have had horrible experiences with HP. I think dell has now got a nice glossy finish.
