Selling hp victus 15 rtx3050 Ryzen5-5600H bought from reliance digital offline ,with box , .5 month old ,in almost mint condition under warranty . A micro mark is there when i opened it for upgrade which its much visible. I am selling it with stock ram and ssd configuration which is 8gb ram and 512gb ssd.

Laptop has developed a half centimeter long white spot which is mostly visible in black background or high brightness

It doesn't look like dead pixel issue, more similar to burn-in/physical damage to the pixels n that area. If it is under warranty then maybe you can try to get the screen replaced.

I did contact hp support on WhatsApp and they said white spots are not covered under warranty.

Really? Ask them in an email for specific section/clause in warranty T&C where it is mentioned by quoting it.

Im talking with hp support again, each of them seems to have a different approach . This one has asked me to go to bios

If it is considered as customer induced damage then it indeed won't be covered under standard warranty but it should be covered under ADP & that is also why I always recommend everyone to get ADP along with standard warranty/extended warranty even by paying extra as it is worth it.

Is it worth spending 5k to get 1 year adp? Assuming this white spot is a minor issue and wont spread ,correct me if I'm wrong

5k is a bit much, asus & lenovo usually offer 3 yrs warranty(1 year standard+2 yrs extended+ADP in all these yrs) for 1.5-3k. It should not spread but this does raise doubts over screen longevity as a whole.

Does these offers need to be bundled during purchase itself or can we upgrade to it after some time?

Laptop condition update : laptop is slightly bent at middle , there is a half centimeter white spot. Will update new pics.

Asus has asuspromo.in website for this. Lenovo, you have to call customer care for this offer usually unless you are buying directly from their official online store which btw also has some good offers during this time till Diwali. Dell is costliest but you can purchase any time before warranty is over while for asus & lenovo the time limit is usually 7-10 days from the date on purchase invoice.

have updated the pics with white spot, add pics are at 30, 70,100% brightness. Spot is mostly visible on high brightness or black backround. The bend is noticeable a bit in keyboard and from the gap between display and keyboard. Price dop: 50k shipping included on buyers risk . Im open to trade with m1 macbook air also
