HTC will be launching a new flagship smartphone with 5 inch full HD 1080p display called "DLX" , according to tweet by XDA member Football4PDA .

Football's previous leaks about HTC 8X and One X+ which had been true so this information might be correct . According to the tweet , the HTC DLX will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz processor .
It will have 1.5GB RAM ,16GB storage , a 12 MP snapper with 2MP front video call camera . It will be powered by 2500mAh non removable battery . The DLX will run Android 4.1.2

Fantastic news if true.
Would certainly love htc to have a crack at the phablet market.I certainly expect the hardware to be a notch better than the current samsung offering and hopefully they support it with proper updates.
 
Even note 2 has 3100 math battery with HD screen and this has only 2500 mah non removable battery,no SD card slot,they need to seriously look at the market...they have lost direction..
 
he has not mentioned that there is no microsd card slot .. so probably the 16GB memory would be expandable coz 16GB is low for flagship phone ..
 
I don't think a 5 inch phone should be counted in the 'phablet' category (IMO only has to be above 5.5 inches). In dimensions this phone is smaller than the 4.8 inch Galaxy S III.
 
I just want it for the awesome HW it possesses.Although,this will also get outdated in a flash.(or so it seems in the mobile market currently)
