HTC has announced a new mid-range dual-SIM smartphone named HTC E1 in China, but is expected to arrive in India also in next few weeks.

The HTC E1 is powered by 1.15GHz dual-core processor and comes with 4.3 inch Super LCD2 display with 800x480 resolution. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage expandable via microSD card slot. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with HTC Sense 4.0+.



It has 5MP rear camera BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture , Autofocus and LED flash along with HTC ImageChip and 2.1 MP front camera with wide 88 degree capture angle.

The phone supports dual-SIM with dual standby, primary sim supports tri-band GSM and dual-band HSPA , secondary SIM card slot supports GSM bands. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, HDMI and A-GPS. It has Beats audio enhancements also . It is powered by 2100mAh battery.



The HTC E1 gets a price tag of 1,799 yuan which equals $290, it is expected to cost around Rs 20,000 in India.
