but in general, i would stay away from lg and prefer a samsung or htc make anyday

I have been using a optimus one for more than 7 months, apart from the famous dust problem I love it .. it had the maximum amount of memory available out of the box for any phone under 10k for apps.

And I guess you haven't heard about launchers , try go launcher or adw launcher

Absolutely right. No one would buy a blade to use it on froyo without modding. It has one of the biggest development communities ever, and loads of roms under active development. Screen-wise there's no comparison really, the blade has one of the best lcd screens, AND is 267ppi vs the explorer's pitiful 180ppi.

Come to think of it, it's just ridiculous how long the blade has managed to stay current and attractive. Speaks more about the incompetent 'regular' manufacturers really.
 
More like greedy manufacturers! Everybody wants to be apple and have 40 percent gross margins! Samsung has huge advantages of in-house display tech.they can easily provide a 800*480 screen on something like galaxy y

.hvga resolution on 10 k phones is 2 years old! But there is so much demand for small screens that they can dictate prices. We have to wait till Chinese display makers give serious competition!

I mean the suppliers of displays.Chinese vendors have set up huge capacity LCD units.that's why 32 inch LCD TVs are available for 15k now.Samsung is slowly moving to oled displays.oled displays are cheaper to make but they are expensive right now due to Samsung 's monopoly! I guess we will see cheaper 4 inch LCD displays as oled becomes the new standard. Just like cry prices crashed when lcd 's came in!

HOW FOOLISH AND STUPIDITY OF THE FIRST ORDER..I GOT A CALL FROM BUY THE PRICE FOR THE CONFIRMATION OF MY ORDER...JUST BEFORE THE FEMALE HUNG UP THE CALL, I ASKED FOR THE CONFIRMATION OF THE PRICE AND SHE SAID ITS 7999 .I TOLD HER MY ORDER WAS CONFIRMED AND I ALSO GOT A MAIL THAT THE PAYABLE AMOUNT IS 6999. SHE PUT ME ON HOLD, AND RETURNED SAYING "I AM SORRY SIR ! PRICES HAVE CHANGED AND WE ARE NOT ABLE TO OFFER YOU THAT PRICE ! DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES YOU HAVE GOT THAT MAIL THE COUPON WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING ! " I SAID YOU CAN CANCEL MY ORDER POLITELY AND SHE AGREED AND I HUNG UP ! THIS SHOWS HOW PATHETIC THESE SITES ARE WITH FAKE COUPONS ! THANK GOD I MADE THE CONFIRMATION ! WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN AND SUGGEST YOU GUYS TOO TO STAY AWAY !

#[member='sandeepsachin'] thats really unfortunate, if you are really pissed off & angry,

-Send a Polite but Harsh & strong worded mail to BTP CEO, Promoters & Marketing dept, I guess you can get details from Google, mention you never expected BTP to do such Cheap tactics ever, tell them how inefficient you company is..

-Send same mail to HTC India & HTC HQ too (Reason : Let the matter get to HTC also, in case there is direct supply from HTC to BTP they will look into it.

-Post your problem on online consumer court site.

In case you believe its a Genuine Mistake or Pricing error, then leave it, even LB had once put its High value items for prices like Rs.1 etc but later canceled all orders but we understood it was a mistake.
 
we can get the explorer for 7.8k , by using 200rs off coupon from tradus

I also have worst experience with buytheprice , ordered 2 iphone 4 cases , cancelled order after 15days , they could have bought the cases from other website like ebay and could have sent it to me , I used awesome coupon on those cases 250rs off on 499rs purchase , they dont wanted to lose the money and hence cancelled the order , sucks !!!!
