Still a killer price for a phone that does:

1. Windows Mobile 6.5

2. Windows Phone 7

3. Android 2.3

Come on man. It's a KILLER deal even at $300

Frankie. Add meego and ubuntu. lol

Killer phone who wants to try out different oses on single device. Sure meego is lagging but they will optimize it soon. :)

If you want a large screen its good otherwise just get a Spice Mi430 this is from the year 2009.... BTW this has QSD8250 "200 Adreno" the Spice Mi430 has a 1Ghz CPU along with 205 Adreno which at least holds some ground to the tegra....

The spice phone is fabulous. No d oibt about that. But its the dev support behind this phone and the mad option to interchange between mjor oses that makes this such a good deal. People who don't like android can try windows. Those who don't like either can also try ubuntu. Its the beauty of this that takes the cake

I got HTC HD7 for $168 a week ago...IMHO this is a great deal.Most versatile Phone ever..

I was already thinking of getting one. So far I've been researching how these deals end and they all seem to end between 180$ (Good condition) ~ 220$ (Excellent condition).

This officialy makes it the cheapest 4.3inch Android 2.3, Windows Phone 7 NoDo (Mango update coming out too) and MeeGo phone.

Really want one now :P

EDIT:
Anyone on a tighter budget but good with hardware can buy a HD2 with a cracked digitizer + new digitizer for 130$ ~ 150$. Ofcourse you have to be very very good with hardware as replacing the digitizer is very tricky :P

I bought a similar HD2 but changing digitizer is really very tricky..

Bought my HD7 from EBay its in good condition.. Will reach me by thursday

Any HD2 owner here? How is the android/WP7/meego implemention on this device? is it smooth or buggy?

From research-
WP7 is a 100% port of the HD7. Everything works and theres even a trick to get Live services to work in India. The only issue is the battery drain problem, which is quite irregular as some handsets don't get it at all while some can be easily fixed with simple workarounds and some unfixable.

Android - Dunno. But there are a lot of stable Gingerbread roms. Also the bootloader is cracked which means you can directly boot into Android unlike many WM6 phones like the Diamond, Fuze, HD Mini, etc.

MeeGo - Not a pure port. Still lots of work left to be done here.

Anymore questions please ask. Theres an Indian chap on XDA who answers questions for HD2. Ask him directly or I can ask him for you :)

^^so,WP7 and android ports apart from default WM os are perfectly usable on HD2?

Android is a PERFECT port , WP7 not that much. It works but its not as good as a native install. MeeGo is just a namesake. Its an ancient beta version and FYI it is stock MeeGo. Not the implementation on the N9.
