HTC launches Aria: the Legend with a TFT

HTC recently launched the Aria, 3.2" Android with almost the same specs as the Legend, the difference being a TFT HVGA display.

What is surprising are the benchmarks, Aria scores almost twice that of Legend despite having the same processor and memory. And yes, no more audio sync issues in videos. Let's hope the Legend gets optimized with Froyo.

If priced @ 17-18k, this would make a really nice deal. But those screws at the back are really really ugly (atleast not to my taste).... :/

Excellent telephony

We experienced no voice quality and reception issues with the HTC Wildfire..

This just makes you wonder how much of this review is genuine and how much is copy-pasted.....

The pricing will be crucial. If they do it right it will be a compelling buy in the mid range segment. 17-18K would be sweet, but knowing HTC am expecting 19-20k.

Looks quite attractive to my eyes and seems to fit my requirements perfectly. Waiting for the launch and most importantly pricing...

Its priced around 15k according to one of my friends who saw it at Reliance Digital..

But that would mean Wildfire would get a price cut... I would be skeptical about a new phone getting a price cut so soon...
