A couple of days ago, there was a post regarding the leaked HTC M7, which happens to be HTC's next flagship smartphone (not phablet) set to be introduced at CES 2013. It seems that the HTC M7 will be replacing the HTC One X. In fact, the phone will pack a 4.7" display. This is good news as 4.7" really cuts it. Beyond that, a smartphone becomes too big, too Note like. Well, let's see what the One X replacement will bring with it.

The HTC M7 will be the world's first smartphone to pack a 1080p display in a screen size lesser than 5". That's right, the HTC M7 will pack a 4.7" 1080p SoLux display. Cramming such a high resolution into 4.7" results in a mind boggling 468 ppi pixels density. Really, it's pushing all limits. We were only getting used to higher than 300 ppi on Android smartphones, and now we are approaching nearly 500 ppi pixels density. Wonder where this goes next.

Also in tow is a 13 MP camera sensor. Slo-mo and HDR video recording are also included. A 2 MP front camera will enable better clarity (and higher resolution) video calling. HTC will still stick to Beats Audio.
A large 2300 mAh battery should power the 1080p display and the 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core processor. This is an updated Krait based chipset which runs 200 MHz faster than the previous chipset. The phone also packs LTE onboard.
Androdi Jelly Bean is also mentioned in the spec sheet. However, whether it's Android 4.1 or 4.2 remains to be seen. It is possible that it's Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and that we see HTC Sense 5 implemented with this smartphone.
