Htc Nexus One vs. Sony Ericcson Xperia mini Pro

I am an Lg o1 user and am i wish to move on to a better handset.

But,still not bored with the o1,nor is it in any way become old

I find the optimus one still to be interesting because of the custom rom's over at xda.

The prime reason for my update would be for mere power, my o1 does'nt overclock over 768 Mhz

.

Both the xperia pro and N1 are somewhat similar internal hardware wise, except for adreno 200 on the N1.

The N1 has a amoled screen , whereas the xperia pro has a qwerty keypad.

I need help deciding between these two.

My primary needs:

A solid multimedia performance.

Good xda support.

Fast out of the box.

Excellent music output.

Pleasing pictures.

1 day battery life with heavy usage (2hrs wifi, 2hrs video, 100 msgs, 5 mins of voice calls)

Kindly suggest which one i should go for,also please put in your own suggestions.

My budget is 15k, a max strech of 18-20k.

I would say neither ... Samsung Galaxy R was strong choice for your budget but sadly its not available...

You have used O1 so your shortlisted choices will not give you much needed "power" upgrade...

If you could wait sometime grab Galaxy S Advance ...

Atleast go for duel core phones with powerful gfx chip for the budget of 18-20k ...

Take a look at Xperia pro if you're eager..

has a nice 8mp shooter and great sound quality..

I have N1 and trust me SQ is not at-all good. Go for Nexus One only if you want solid XDA support, awesome build quality and loads of custom ROM.

There are already several builds of ICS available for N1 available on Xda.

N1 -> Solid Xda support, Freaking awesome build quality mine doesn't even has a single scratch.

Xperia mini pro -> I cannot comment but it has bettr sound and camera.

Or go for Samsung Galaxy R, if u can bearTouchwiz..
