I got access to a HTC One M8 (somebody got it from the US), me thinks it is a sprint device.
Now when I switch it on, I get a message on the start up screen - " This build is for development purposes only, not for distribution without HTC's written permission."
When I check the software version of the phone, it says "ViperOneM8 1.2.0" , Android version is 4.4.2 and HTC Sense is 6.0
Me thinks this device was rooted and a custom (BETA?) ROM is installed. - Sorry if this sounds Noob'ish.
Is there a possibility of moving over to Stock ROM? With the ability to get OTAs and FW upgrades from HTC?
