HTC has slashed the price of One S and Desire C smartphones in India .
The One S was launched in India at Rs 33500 , had the Snapdragon S3 processor clocked at 1.7GHz instead of the faster Snapdragon S4 processor , because of which the handset turned out to be less interesting for buyers at that price point . Now HTC has slashed its price to Rs 28,900 .
The Desire C which is similar to the HTC Explorer with few improvements was priced at Rs 14,999 before . Now it has been slashed to Rs 12,700 .
Online retailers like Flipkart and Saholic have already started selling the handsets for slashed prices .
