HTC One X has started getting the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software update in Europe.
The update with firmware version number 4.18.401.2 and is 380MB in size. It is currently available in European countries as OTA ( over the air ) update, according to XDA developers members.
The update brings Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5 with HTC BlinkFeed like the HTC One. It also includes new lock screen widgets, battery level in status bar, quick settings in status bar, camera improvements , and music channel with visualization with live lyrics.
Users have also reported that the update improves battery life and responsiveness of the device.
Users of the One X in India will have to wait little longer as it is not available here yet but we can expect it to roll out in the coming weeks soon. The One X+ Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update is also pending for rollout in India.
