HTC Rio , Accord And Zenith Running Windows Phone 8 Coming Soon

Microsoft recently unveiled Windows Phone 8 which will pack a host of new features .
TheVerge got some details on WP8 roadmap which reveals three future devices running the Windows Phone 8 to be launched by HTC , one of the most important WP licensee other than Nokia .

First one is HTC "Rio" which will have 4" display with WVGA resolution , powered by Qualcomm 1GHz dual-core Krait MSM8227 processor and 512MB of RAM . It will have 5MP camera capable of 720p video . It has HPSA 14.4Mbps connectivity.

Next is higher model HTC "Accord" which will have bigger 4.3" display with 720p resolution , it will have slightly faster dual-core Krait CPU (~1.5-1.7GHz ) , 1GB of RAM . It will have 8MP snapper capable of 1080p video . Connectivity includes 42Mbps HSPA+ and NFC support .

Next is the flagship Windows Phone device HTC "Zenith" featuring same 4.7" Super LCD 2 display with 720p resolution as the One X , it will have quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (it looks like the Zenith and Accord may share a similar relationship to the One X and One S at retail).

The Zenith is expected in the last quarter this year , while the Rio and Accord are coming in October .

The screen size choice is nice. especially the 4.7"one....it will fell "big"(subjective) but really not "too big" (again subjective).
Am sick of Android, WP8 might be a fresh change. I already like the interface, but just waiting for more options. Nokia's WPs are overpriced(if one compares hardware specs/features of similar Android devices) - HTC should be able to force Nokia to bring the prices down to a more realistic levels.
 
HTC Accord, I hope it is affordable and not 30k or something.

Meanwhile, all my hopes resting on HTC Rio for that 15-18k device.

Or i'll just have to wait for Nokia Lumia 710's successor, or the next Samsung Omnia W with WP8. Personally, I would go for Nokia this time.
 
ha ha ha! 30k!! however, im right there with you!!! I paid full price for my Windows Phone 7 ($600) only because i didnt want to add another line!! I got my eye on the Zenith! As you said, hope its not 30k!!!! (might be kinda close though!!)
