Yet another cellphone thread- I just need something better than the current phone i'm using. After my N72 went dead in Dec07 , I have been surviving on my very old phone. Nothing appeals me in the current cellphone market. I don't like SE's cause of the interface ( somehow just not comfy with it ) . Would have love to get the HTC Touch , but then im on low budget + doest suit an sms junky.........Now on an low budget , im stuck deciding on the following.....

HTC S310 Rs.6250

Runs Windows. Loved the phone , its got lovely keys and the reviews aint too bad abt it as well. The keys can be identified individually , small and lite package.
However 2 negatives here......Available only in 'white' color and
No mem card bundled along ....( aah i know 1gb is jus abt 300 buks )
However im unsure if i will be able to xfer contacts and sms from the phone to the comp. Considering it runs Windows , i think it should.
HP iPaQ 512 Rs.7600
Runs Windows. Nice and sturdy built. Decent keys.
No mem card bundled along.

Nokia 5310 Rs.8850
Its just above my budget of 7.5k. But then its got better cam and a mem card and other bling stuff. However I hate that I can't install anything on it.
However in this i'm sure i will be able to xfer contacts and sms to the phone....The 5310 has a better cam / music above the HTC and the HP , however it falls down in the S40 thingy.

Aaarg 25 Visits to the thread , yet no one can reply....I need to buy a new phone tomorrow......plssss advise....if there is something else i should look at , advise that too....post something atleast :disappointed:...............:(
 
i'd say if you want third party applications on your phone...and the ability to tweak/customise the phone's functions WM is light years ahead of s40.
The ipaq 512 looks a good buy as it runs WM6 and has the trusted hp build quality to back it up.

there is no way i can 'try' i need something proper.......i havent heard anyone use the s310 so that makes me think twice to go in for it , also on various grounds i see the hp 512 better than the s310......the s620 is a seperate entity altogether :)
