HTC promised Android 4.0 ICS upgrade for 16 of its devices back in February , but only few of them have got the update till now and the Desire HD update was cancelled due to incompatibility issues later . Now, the company has said that the updates for the remaining devices are expected by the end of this month .
On its official Facebook page , HTC has said while replying to a query about Thunderbolt that Android 4.0 ICS upgrade for devices is expected to be rolled out by the end of August .
"Yes, the Thunderbolt is still set to receive ICS. We're still planning to finish updates for all announced devices by the end of August. Thanks for remaining so patient!"
The reply sounds promising but even if the updates are ready , users may still need to wait some more days for the updates to be rolled out in different regions .
