HTC has officially unveiled the Desire X which was previously rumored by the name "Proto" . The Desire X bridges the gap between low end Desire C and Mid range One V .
The Desire X is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor , but it has dual 45nm Cortex-A5 cores from 'Play' range , unlike the S4 'Plus' on the One S based on 28nm design and much faster Krait architecture .
It has 4inch WVGA S-LCD display about which TheVerge says "that's definitely one of the nicest WVGA units we've seen ". It has 4GB of expandable internal storage , 768MB RAM . The battery is 1650mAh .
The Desire X will go on sale in Europe and Asia starting mid-September . The actual price is not yet revealed . But according to TheVerge , it would "make sense" for the Desire X to be priced lower than the One V. .
